Starcodes horoscopes for August 12 – 18, 2016

by Heather Roan Robbins

This week’s mood can be generally upbeat and enthusiastic as mental Mercury conjunct expansive Jupiter in Virgo. We can shift gears and find positive changes doing something we hadn’t done before, or haven’t done for a long while as the Sun trines change-master Uranus, an aspect which can act like a cosmic clutch.

Along with an interesting summer week, work projects begin to shift and move forward, though we could wrestle over who’s in charge or who had authority as Saturn turns direct after a long retrograde cycle. Think back to work, structure, or plans, that were beginning to build momentum in March, ones that were delayed when Saturn retrograded aroundMarch 26, and begin to stir the embers of those fires.

[ad name=”AdSense Responsive”]

But in an undercurrent waiting underneath this pleasant, potentially busy week, we can feel hurt by the actions of another person, politician, or event that happens to tap dance on an old psychic scar as Jupiter opposes the asteroid Chiron. Whether we run into a difficult relative, someone who reminds us of one, or hit a familiar challenging situation, we may be forced out of our comfort zone and required to grow in ways that we’d not choose otherwise.

If we feel so triggered, it’s important to remember that we’re not back among those old memories, we’re right here in the present moment. If we can face the situation kindly and courageously, we can reset that pattern, and reclaim a breath of personal power.

Friday and Saturday the Moon travels through cheerful, restless Sagittarius, keeping the mood upbeat and restless even as our deeper work is activated. Our romantic life and artistic career is complicated as creative Venus first forms a challenging square to serious Saturn on Saturday, then opposes confusing Neptune on Sunday. Our natural flow of affection could feel tested; chores can cramp our love life or visiting relatives can get in the way of our creative endeavors. And we may need to act upon our sense of compassion.

It can be hard to see what’s happening clearly during this time as Venus opposes Neptune, so it will help to keep lines of communication wide open with beloveds, check in with one another and make sure they are doing okay under whatever the circumstances. One good thing about this Saturn-Venus aspect is that old friendships and healthy relationship skills help us pull through. And when we prove we’re there for one another, it grows our trust. If our imagination feels temporarily cramped, practicing the skills of our craft opens up the creative process.

A Capricorn Moon on Sunday and Monday can bring determination, but if we don’t have a place to put our determination, it can also bring depression. Find purpose. Wasting time will be hard, so make any moment useful.

Midweek is wildly sociable under a full Moon in community-oriented Aquarius, one of the great gathering times of year. Wednesday night the Sun trines Uranus and helps us switch gears and get excited. Venus trines Pluto, deepens our feelings and helps us know what we want. Though we may feel extra emotional as the Moon heads into Pisces on Thursday. Look for clues as to why we might feel optimistic toward the weekend.

Friday, Aug 12: Serious, fair, and pointed conversation helps start a process or a journey as an upbeat, restless Sagittarius Moon conjuncts Mars and Saturn. The mood slows down midday, we may feel unusually tender and need to process our life or memories.Tonight, low-key wandering soothes the soul. We’ll need companions to be supportive and low maintenance.

Moon square Mercury 3:57 AM, Moon conjunct Saturn 6:51 AM, Moon square Neptune9:38 AM, Jupiter opposed Chiron 5:59 PM, Moon square Mercury 10:59 PM

Saturday, August 13: Just go ahead and deal with those responsibilities and have is good time with one another in the process as Venus squares Saturn. Questions about what something fundamental to us, to our sense of personal authority or history, murmur in the background of an otherwise upbeat day. Rely on good relationship skills; do the right thing and affection returns.

Saturn stations and turns direct 3:49 AM, Moon trine Sun 5:05 AM, Venus squares Saturn8:30 AM, Moon trine Uranus 11:27 AM, Moon square Jupiter 11:36 AM, Moon enters Capricorn 10:11 PM.

Sunday, August 14: A lazy streak can breed misunderstandings. Our brains and heart may need to slip out of gear and putter in neutral as Venus opposes Neptune, but an industrious Capricorn Moon nags us to work, or at least prompts us come up with great suggestion for other people to do. Let the imagination wander; sketch out ideas about the future, but keep it simple in present time.

Venus opposed Neptune 11:03 AM, Moon sextile Neptune 7:13 PM, Moon trine Venus8:06 PM.

Monday, August 15: Morning can leave us feeling grim or painfully aware of our failings as a Moon-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn whispers to us about all the work that needs to be done. We’ll feel younger, if argumentative, by noontime. Just keep working, as progress helps good spirits return tonight.

Moon conjunct Pluto 3:04 AM, Moon trine Mercury 12:59 PM, Moon square Uranus 7:42 PM, Moon trine Jupiter 8:44 PM.

Tuesday, August 16: What change can we make today? The Sun trines change-inducing Uranus as the Moon enters forward-thinking Aquarius. Brainstorm and explore possibilities this morning. Even the dogs will want to take a different route. Afternoon brings more industrious competence.

Moon enters Aquarius 5:52 AM, Sun trines Uranus 2:23 PM, Moon sextile Mars 4:49 PM, Moon sextile Saturn 11:21 PM.

Wednesday, August 17: It’s a great day to meet, celebrate, or show off; community flourishes when we all express our potential. Competition isn’t the point. Gather for a cause, pursue the heart’s calling as Venus trines Pluto. Tonight’s full Moon in community-oriented Aquarius is one of the best moments to gather all year.

Venus trine Pluto 8:17 PM.

Thursday, August 18: Our minds cook, our thoughts gather early this morning, though the middle of the day may lose steam and decisiveness. It may be hard to do ordinary boring things, we want to be part of larger events and stronger dramatic arc. Sentimentality, sensitivity and free-floating emotions swirl as the Moon enters Piscestonight.

Moon sextile Uranus 12:50 AM, Moon opposed the Sun 3:26 AM, Moon enters Pisces10:34 AM, Moon square Mars 10:53 PM.

Starcodes horoscopes for April 29 – May 5, 2016

by Heather Roan Robbins

As long as we’re not in a hurry we can enjoy this weekend’s sweet and mellow aspects, which are perfect for puttering in the garden or through the farmer’s market and checking in with old friends. Catch up with a backlog of emotional processing. Venus enters its own earthy sign of Taurus and nurtures our gardens and our relationships.

But if we have specific places to go, things to do, and a tight timeline to get there, we’ll tend to feel frustrated and can tune into an underlying ambient irritation. It will help us to stay flexible about our plans while being open to serendipity and important side agendas; yes we can make plans and set a few easy goals, but let’s be willing to roll with life and work with what fate has to offer. Mercury has just turned retrograde and all things now Mercurial slow down and take a unique path.

Mercury symbolizes how we think, communicate, transport, and be honest, and is now retrograde until May 22. It joins Jupiter, Mars, Saturn, and Pluto all appearing to back up against the zodiac from our earthly perspective. When any planet turns retrograde, we get a chance to review what we’ve learned over its recent path, and may have to deal with an usual, sometimes difficult, expression of its realm. For instance, in Minneapolis, the main interstate throughway which also connects the Twin Cities is completely closed throughout this first weekend of Mercury retrograde, forcing drivers to find unique roots through side-streets and secondary arteries. Drivers may run late for their plans, but could see new parts of the city they didn’t know existed.

In another example of retrograde action, since Mars (whose realm includes desire, machismo, exploration, physical energy, sexuality, violence, and war) turned retrograde (April 17-, June 29) in the sign Sagittarius, a sign we associate with children, youthful energy, movement, we have seen several incidents in the national news of children who found a gun and harmed themselves or family. Only a few families in the country and had to deal with this personally, but we all have had to contemplate that symbol and wonder what we could do to prevent such tragedies in the future. Mars retrograde is also an important time to go back and find missing passions or long-standing ambitions that have fallen by the wayside, and reinvestigate. But let’s watch the tendency towards road rage. Mars retrograde can also be a time when something triggers an old anger of ours, and we have to decide to either reattach to that anger, or pull the thorn and let it go.

This week Mercury retrogrades back into the grand trine with Jupiter and Pluto (the first pass was April 15 -19), a grand trine which will resonate throughout May. Just watch the bombastic political (Jupiter/Pluto) slinging, a power play of words (Mercury), throughout the month. But this grand trine may also take our minds back to a time where we felt depressed or disempowered and help us open the energy locked up that memory. As a culture we may also need to recommit to fixing an old wrong, deal with intense and heavy news, or contemplate (Mercury) what truly frees us (Jupiter/Pluto) in a concrete and real way (grand trine in earth signs). With Mercury retrograde it behooves us to take our time, to review, renew, recollect, return, and complete on all levels.

So this weekend, wherever possible, let’s kick back rather than push forward. Sunday, May Day, marks spring’s midpoint. It’s a lovely day to commune with nature and invoke the magic of the burgeoning natural world, and the healing power of healthy human evolution. We can feel a little hypersensitive, may not be feeling so realistic, and may lose a lot of details in the process as the energizing Sun sextiles intuitive, spiritual, idealistic Neptune, just as the Moon enters Neptune rule Pisces, but it truly can be a magical time.

Enjoy the spring pulchritude before Tuesday. The weekend ends with nervy, high friction aspects that can both make us cranky and lower our impulse control just as mechanical glitches and human assumptions increase. We can direct this irritable fuel to further our work or rebel against problems. But let’s watch what we say with one another, watch where we drive, and hold one another and the major hot spots of the world in loving kindness.

Friday, April 29: The mood is pleasantly stubborn, though it’s all too easy to miss signals and work tangentially instead of cooperatively. If people feels out of sync, slow down, hold hands and reconnect, decide on a few select goals, and let everything else wait. The evening has a cuddly, humorous, well-fed quality if we’re not in a hurry or sidetracked by misunderstandings.

Moon square Venus 1:07 AM, Moon enters Aquarius 2:46 AM, Moon sextiles Mars 5:19 PM, Venus enters Taurus 6:35 PM, Moon square Sun 9:28 PM.

Saturday, April 30: We may want to connect, but our relationships can feel tested or strained by distracting responsibilities this morning. The garden and other pragmatic chores call us for attention and it’s a good time to catch up with our own work. The afternoon is sociable if restless, our feet may want to roam and check out the neighborhood. Though we may need to work around a clash between head and heart or between conflicting needs tonight as the Moon squares Mercury.

Venus sesqui-quadrate Saturn 2:13 AM, Moon sextile Saturn 6:46 AM, Moon sextile Uranus 5:54 PM, Moon square Mercury 8:55 PM.

Sunday, May 1: This is a hard day to stay grounded, pragmatic and efficient but a wonderful day to talk with the garden spirits and open the heart, to dance the Maypole or find another way to honor mid-spring. The Moon enters sensitive Pisces, the Sun sextiles imaginative, sensitive Neptune, we can feel squishy and amorphous, permeable, unrealistic and alive. Magic resonates.

Sun sextile Neptune 6 AM, Moon conjunct Pisces 8:33 AM, Moon sextile Venus 12:15 PM, Moon square Mars 9:34 PM.

Monday, May 2: Be gentle on one another this Monday morning, we may still be feeling squishy and watery, may not be the sharpest tool in the box. Allergies and other irritants hit delicate nerves. We may start off this morning in a generous mood if uncertain or foggy in our perceptions. Mid-day can bring a grim streak as the squishy mood hits workday realities, but ends on a more comfortable note where we can be sympathetic and supportive of one another.

Moon conjunct Neptune 4:22 AM, Moon sextile Sun 5:59 AM, Moon opposed Jupiter 7:22 AM, Moon square Saturn 10:38 AM, Moon sextile Pluto 2:16 PM, Moon sextile Mercury11:07 PM.

Tuesday, May 3: The ambient energy picks up, but now we have to focus it ourselves as the Sun trines upbeat Jupiter The moon enters energized, iconoclastic Aries and infuses us with a desire to break away from it all; we’re not interested in trivia or routine, but we don’t have to push others away or create artificial intensity. Though some people will do just that. It furthers to philosophize on the nature of true freedom.

Sun trine Jupiter 1:57 AM, Moon enters Aries 11:04 AM, Moon trine Mars 10:42 PM.

Wednesday, May 4: We could wake up with a rebellious chip on our shoulder. We tend to butt up against the rules, restrictions anybody playing the authority figure, with no patience for bureaucracy as the Sun quincunx Saturn We may also have to accept that we have to release an item, plan, or person. Either we can let that distract us, or let it bring us more into our heart. Watch for minor odd power plays from people afraid to let go. Be cautious tonight, the energy swirls erratically.

Moon trine Saturn 11:33 AM, Moon square Pluto 3:13 PM, Moon conjunct Uranus 10:16 PM, Sun quincunx Saturn 10:39 PM.

Thursday, May 5: The day begins with nervy, difficult, even accident-prone energy. It’s all too easy to say something we don’t really mean. Keep it five second delay on impulses, check to make sure they are real. Don’t read too much into interpersonal friction. The day smooths out as the Moon enters Taurus midday We can reconnect easily tonight, if we can get past earlier sparks. Show love through concrete help

Mercury semi sextile Uranus 12:31 AM, Mars sesqui-quadrate Uranus 5:10 AM, Venus quincunx Mars 8:10 AM, Moon enters Taurus 11:10 AM, Moon conjunct Venus 11:12 PM.

All times MDT.

Welcome to April Fools’ Day, the first day of the first month past the vernal equinox, New Year’s day to those of us foolish enough to follow an astrological calendar. April Fool’s pranks also gives us relatively harmless outlet for the brash energy of Sun, Mercury, and Uranus all now in feisty Aries.

A lighthearted outlet like an April fool’s joke can help says let off steam and decreases the pressure we may be feeling from the present line up of planets in Aries. International and local politics usually winds up every year when the Sun heads into Aries. It is our duty to revolt in Aries season, to rebel against the snow, our winter’s weight and the world injustices. And this year’s Aries revolution began with a bang as explosions rocked Belgium and Pakistan, and heated rhetoric ensued all around. The Aries spark demands “do something, anything, and do it now!” about any problem that agitates us, and many problems do. We have to add the compassion and wisdom to do the right thing.

[ad name=”AdSense Responsive”]

So let’s take today and get a sense of humor back, though with loving kindness and a twinkle in one’s eye. It won’t make the big picture any less scary, or the problems our world is facing any less dire, but it can help restore resilience so we can stay involved and do the work.

We may need that resilience with a nervy Mercury/Mars aspects unsettling us as the weekend begins, we may feel hurried or chafe at a deadline, feel our attitude sharpen or get a little klutzy. This aspect can also spark off any waiting fuel, both practical and political; social justice issues will be front and center. Or it can just make us a little tired and irritated at the end of the week. Let’s see if we can smooth the waters and direct any irritable energy towards problems and not towards people.

As next week begins under a sensitive Pisces Moon, we may be unusually aware of our vulnerabilities and that does not make the Aries energy comfortable. Where we feel touchy and sensitive, we may create friction like sand on a Sunburn. If our beloveds hurt us, even accidentally, or if our political situation does not feel safe and we do feel heard under the sensitive Pisces Moon, things will get difficult towards the end of the week. Emotional Venus enters Aries on Tuesday, the Sun squares powerful Pluto under an Aries New Moon on Wednesday and Thursday, and this new fire can propel anything our hearts desire. If we have work to do, we can get it done. If we need to protest pain or wants to get revenge, this can be a truly difficult time.

Let’s maintain impulse control, keep our wisest self and most compassionate heart behind the wheel, and use this propulsion in positive ways. The Aries New Moon is, for astrologers a true yearly starting point, so let’s start something beautiful.

Friday, April 1: Unpredictable aspects overnight can leave us edgy or wary this morning. We’ll be a little sensitive as April Fools’ Day begins under a sensitive Pisces Moon, but we will be ready for a moment of camaraderie as the Moon sextiles Venus midmorning, and then our attention wanders the afternoon. We grow stronger, a bit more extroverted but also potentially anxious or impulsive tonight as the Moon enters sociable Aquarius while Mercury sesqui-quadrates Mars.

Moon square Uranus 1:19 AM, Moon square Mercury 3:12 AM, Moon sextile Venus 10:38 AM, Moon enters Aquarius 7:37 PM, Mercury sesqui-squares Mars 9:52 PM.

Saturday, April 2: We may be looking for trouble, or at least adventure, this morning. Keep an eye on mechanical issues, and if the coffee spills, slow down. Afternoon brings a collaborative, eccentric, positive, but independent vibe. Respect spontaneity and individuality. Enjoy the buzz in the park and at events; people want to get out of their corners and gather.

Moon sextile Mars 9:13 AM, Moon sextile Sun 7:57 PM.

Sunday, April 3: This is day to catch up with ourselves, catch up with friends, walk in the woods, or come to know what our community is doing as the Moon makes pleasant aspects and Mercury irritates Neptune. If there seems to be a misunderstanding, instead of jumping to conclusions, use it as a teaching moment, a chance to ask questions and listen to the feelings behind the situation. It’s not a particularly efficient day to get chores or structural issues done, but is a good day to explore options and come to know one another. The evening brings fuzzy thinking, sweet but potentially low energy, with a need to drift in dream as the Moon enters sensitive Pisces.

Moon sextile Saturn 12:28 AM, Moon sextile Uranus 6:55 AM, Mercury semi-square Neptune 12:31 PM, Moon sextile Mercury 5:15 PM, Moon enters Pisces 11:45 PM.

Monday, April 4: Go gently with one another; as the Moon squares Mars and conjunct Neptune we are both softer and more permeable, and therefore more reactive when we feel uncomfortable. Make it safe for one another to share those internal stories and fresh ideas. Share visions for the future, dream about possibilities, brainstorm what we want to launch on the coming new Moon for the year ahead.

Sun quincunx Jupiter 4:19 AM, Moon square Mars 1:01 PM, Moon conjunct Neptune 5:41 PM.

Tuesday, April 5: This morning we can feeling a little old and thoughtful as the Moon square Saturn, but move into a relatively constructive, competent day as long as we don’t hurt each other’s feelings. The moon stays in sensitive Pisces, but the Aries baton gets passed from Mercury to Venus today as Mercury leaves Aries and enters Taurus while Venus leaves Pisces and enters Aries. We may still get hot under the collar easily, but it will be more an emotional reaction and our thoughts, words, and nerves may become more considered but more determined.

Moon opposed Jupiter 12:33 AM, Moon square Saturn 2:42 AM, Moon sextile Pluto 4:32 AM, Sun trine Saturn 10:09 AM, Venus enters Aries at 10:50 AM, Mercury sesqui-quadrate Jupiter for 16 p.m. Mercury enters Taurus 5:09 PM.

Wednesday, April 6: Flowers burst forth, energy builds, and so does attitude as Moon enters Aries this morning and conjunct Venus. Take kids to the park and let them run off extra energy. Avoid giving direct orders wherever possible, we really don’t want to hear it. Launch projects tomorrow under the New Moon, today we need to assess, clear the decks, and clarify goals.

Moon enters Aries 12:45 AM, Moon conjunct Venus 2 AM, Mercury semi sextiles Venus5:13 AM, Mercury sesqui-quadrate Saturn 9:32 AM, Moon trine Mars 1:51 PM, Sun square Pluto 2:12 PM.

Thursday, April 7: We get a green light as the New Moon conjuncts Uranus this morning and launches us out of the gate. It can also launch all kinds of monsters out from the gate, so let’s keep our eyes open, but stay on target with our own work and focused on the long haul. Do take advantage of spontaneous moments and sudden opportunity. Don’t waste all the time in minor conflicts (though that can be easy to do), putting out fires, or doing ordinary chores. Instead, use this fiery energy to work for the long term goals; what we begin today will have legs. Plant ideas and actions, wait until this weekend’s Taurus Moon to plant in the garden.

Moon trine Saturn 2:32 AM, Moon square Pluto 4:25 AM, Sun conjunct Moon 5:23 AM, Moon conjunct Uranus 8:56 AM.

by Heather Roan Robbins

This weekend we may feel deeply ambiguous about humanity in general and people in particular.  We can feel both content with our beautiful relationships and yet simultaneously cynically fed up with people’s inhumanity to people, torn between diving into life wholeheartedly and going on solitary retreat. Venus and Jupiter conjunct for many weeks in extroverted Leo call us out to the party, conference, or arts festival,  while the Moon in Scorpio and Sun and Mars in Cancer can leave us introspective, potentially suspicious, and in desperate need of some time alone.

Because of this conflict we may feel unusually tender or vulnerable and be tempted to overdo or overreact; we may want to leave town rather than take a break, or bite back rather than set a calm boundary. We may find great last-minute excuses to not join the parade. Maybe we need to fix the motor, dig in our garden, or engage in some other solitary pursuit in order to get socially acceptable privacy. Or we may need to meditate on the ephemeral beauty of the moment in light of the impermanence of existence. That Scorpio Moon encourages us to engage intensely or dive below the surface and think about the deeper aspects of life this weekend.

This lineup can help us examine something uncomfortable, if we choose to do so. It can help us look squarely at what bothers or repulses us, and then ask that creative Venus-Jupiter conjunction to help us find a clear, clean, strong loving path towards a solution, if we’re not too busy or irritated to listen.

Early next week our mood can relax but we may still find something to worry about or in engage in a troubling conversation as Mercury forms a challenging aspect Pluto. If so, we can rely on the Sagittarian Moon to help us by employing simple honesty. Just speak up, leave out the loaded terms, keep comments simple and stay in the present moment.

Our social political restlessness picks up speed and we can itch for a change of people, place or aesthetics as Venus trines Uranus. The Sagittarius moon forms a grand trine with Venus and Uranus and opens doorways to great pickup lines and handsome strangers and other serendipitous and unusual meetings, if we can get out of our house and give serendipity a chance.

Our ongoing loves can also be energized if we don’t take one another for granted but rather look at our old loves as fresh opportunity for joy. Because it’s not such a realistic time, even if we meet a beautiful stranger, let’s stay in the public eye with them until we know them better. This trine also speaks of the transformative power of love; expressions of solidarity and warmth can support a subtle transformation going on within and without.

Midweek we may need to readjust our goals in response to new information, but let’s make sure it’s neither laziness nor giving into a fear of failure. Some events may trigger our memory of a previous failure or words of doubt once whispered in our ears and can undermine our confidence. We can either get caught up in this dynamic again, or choose to heal it as Jupiter and Venus both quincunx Chiron while the Moon waxes full in industrious Capricorn.

Friday, June 26: Reach out this morning; ask for any necessary favors early in the day because we become more suspicious, internal, and persnickety as the Moon enters Scorpio midday. Afternoon encourages us to make surgical decisions, what do we need to cut out, attach, weed, reorganize as the Moon trines Mars. Tonight, our humor sharpens and the mood grows musky, we send messages through body language even though we may appear emotionally guarded. Be prepared to either share at a deep level, take time alone, or enjoy solitude in a crowd on this intense night.

Moon VOC until it enters Scorpio 11:56 AM, Moon trine Mars 3 PM, Moon trine Sun 10:12 PM.

Saturday, June 27:  Let’s immerse ourselves in something, anything: a cause, a pond, a project, a parade or shamanic journey. Use beautiful grand trine in water signs (Scorpio Moon, Sun in Cancer, Neptune in Pisces) to perceive and focus. Because our emotional antennae are highly tuned and our feelings are a little touchy, it helps to either be alone or with like souls and share a common goal close to the heart. If we feel interrupted or don’t have a place to put this focus- or feel unsafe or over-loaded, this deep vein of feeling can turn to a craving for some intense experience or will snap into a scorpion sting. Tonight we are prone to excess as the Sun semi-squares Jupiter; our attention is brought to where we feel free and unfettered, and where we still feel constrained.

Moon trine Neptune 7:09 AM, Moon quincunx Mercury 3:02 PM, Moon sextile Pluto 4:05 PM, Sun semi-square Jupiter 5:53 PM

Sunday, June 28: It’s a heavy day, no matter how delightful the sunlight, though we can use this heaviness well. Dig deep, build foundations, plant roots, or protest injustice. Do not believe the murmur of depression or inevitability. Notice the habits of loneliness, own up to the need for solitude, and take responsibility for reaching out beyond that to create connection. Don’t go looking for the pain, make no assumptions about the future but trust the potential of change as Mercury quincunx Pluto. Dinner time is thoughtful but our mood lifts later; fresh honesty and the natural world can soothe and brighten our soul as the Moon enters Sagittarius

Moon square Venus 1:43 AM, Mercury quincunx Pluto 2:20 AM, Moon quincunx Uranus2:58 AM, Moon square Jupiter 4:41 AM, Moon conjunct Saturn 7:50 PM, Moon semi-square Pluto 8:19 PM, Moon enters Sagittarius at 9:21 PM

Monday, June 29: A lovely socially-restless Venus-Uranus trine can make us footloose and long to be fancy free. It’s a wonderful day to experiment with a new approach or walk barefoot on the sand, hard to get people to knuckle down to work. If we schedule in the wandering time, our work moments actually get more productive. It may be time to start a new chapter. Share excitement, exploration, a hope for change. Midafternoon can bring sleepiness or uncertainty as the Moon squares Neptune, clarify facts and let the mind drift in productive ways.

Venus trine Uranus 12:26 AM, Moon quincunx Mars 3:20 AM, Moon quincunx Sun 11:25 AM, Moon square Neptune 3:11 PM,

Tuesday, June 30: Morning brings opportunities that could open doors (though we have to step through) as the Moon forms a creative and freedom-loving grand trine with Uranus, Venus, and Jupiter. While the gateways are open and possibilities abound, let’s ask what our loving creativity want to bring forth. Make overtures now. Later on, the energy becomes more disconnected and can tap-dance on some old wound that affects our ability to love or create in the moment as Venus quincunx Chiron and brings an opportunity to forgive and expand beyond that old pain. We can do it.

Moon oppose Mercury 4:20 AM, Moon trine Uranus 10:01 AM, Moon trine Venus 11:46 AM, Moon trine Jupiter 12:17 PM, Moon square Chiron 12:19 PM, then Moon VOC. Jupiter quincunx Chiron to 30 1 PM, Venus quincunx Chiron 10:39 PM

Wednesday, July 1: It’s time to get down to it; work we avoided earlier in the week now becomes do as the Moon waxes full in industrious Capricorn. We can get easily frustrated with one another, or with our own path, if it doesn’t seem to be moving fast enough, but let’s not take this urgency out on one another– particularly midday as the Moon opposes volatile Mars. Notice and hold ground– but don’t take the bait– around arguments of authority or chain of command, or whose plans win. Find a way to shift the power dynamics to just get the work done; turn this impatience into competence, Capricorn’s gift.Tonight’s full moon full moon at 8:19 PM MDT can trigger our control issues but is a good time to make a pact to balance personal life and work life in a way that expands both.

Venus conjunct Jupiter 1:50 AM, Moon enters Capricorn 3:10 AM, Moon oppose Mars11:32 AM, Sun trine Neptune 3:09 PM, Moon sextile Neptune 10:58 PM, Moon oppose Sun 8:19 PM

Thursday, July 2: It helps to work off our difficult moods this morning as the waning Capricorn Moon pulls away from its conjunction to Pluto. If some people complain about odd and apparently irrelevant things to express their discomfort, look to a feeling of inadequacy or loss underneath. As the day progresses, although we may still run uncomfortable energy and feel nervous or impatient about some corner of our lives, yesterday’s conflicts can bring today’s ingenuity as Mercury sextiles inventive Uranus. If our minds obsess on a problem, it pays to drop it, tackle something completely different, and then circle back to the problem from a different direction. The mood softens around dinnertime; social graces can ease the way past earlier friction.

Moon semi-squares Saturn 3:20 AM, Moon conjunct Pluto 3:55 AM, Mercury sextile Uranus 12:50 PM, Moon square Uranus 1:57 PM, Moon in conjunct Mercury 2:05 PM, Moon sextile Chiron 4:04 PM, Moon quincunx Jupiter 4:45 PM, Moon quincunx Venus6:06 PM, Moon semi-squares Neptune 9:26 PM
