Is Psychic Stars The Real Deal Or A Flop?

Have you ever had that experience when you look into the windows of a shop or land on a website that looks interesting, intriguing or even exciting?  But then once you walk through the door or start digging around on the website you quickly realize that the shop or site is as dull as dishwater?

Well, if you haven’t, you can see how it feels by checking out Psychic Stars website!

Nothing much seems to be happening at Psychic Stars! There is no energy coming from the site, and when we visited it, we found ALL of the psychics to be unavailable!

It’s as though the lights are on, but nobody is home!  It was so quiet that we actually wondered whether Psychic Stars were still trading.

Keep on reading to find out if they are and what you can expect from Psychic Stars.

In the meantime, however, if you require some help from a genuine, reputable and vibrant psychic, we recommend that you browse amongst the verified professionals on the site below. There you will be able to find the perfect and REAL psychic for you.

4 Steps To A REAL Psychic or Astrology Reading That You Can Trust

  1. Visit Kasamba

  2. Register your details.

  3. Select your favorite available psychic from the choices shown.

  4. Click ‘call ’ or Chat (the psychic will instantly chat or call you back).

How Does Psychic Stars Website Work?

The Home Page

When you land on the Psychic Stars homepage, it looks fresh and inviting.  You instantly see that your first reading is $1 per minute, that your reading is 100% risk-free and guaranteed and that they have love and relationship specialists.

It seems really easy to connect with them, and you can even ask a free question as long as you leave your email address.

How To Get A Psychic Reading

You can access the list of psychics from the home page and to connect with one, you’ll need to open an account and enter your credit card details, which is pretty standard for most sites offering an introductory deal.

The Psychics

There are a reasonable amount of psychics showing up on Psychic Stars website, although when we reviewed the site, there were either no psychics available or only one or two.  This could be because they focus on the American marketplace rather than the UK and it was in the morning. But we can’t verify this because there is very little information about Psychic Stars intentions, or well, anything really.

There is also no information at all about how Psychic Stars recruits their psychics.

They could be hitting up the job sites and hiring random people desperate for a job for all we know!  And while we don’t think they are really doing that (it was a joke) we can’t help but wonder whether they are testing the psychic’s skills?  Because if they were – wouldn’t they boast about that a little bit.

Isn’t that what their customers need to know?

What’s the point in a reading if nobody has verified whether the psychic is real?  Isn’t this the point of psychic hotlines; to be the mediator between the psychic and consumer?  Well, if this is the case, Psychic Stars might have failed.

But we can’t tell either way because it’s another piece of vital information that they don’t disclose!

The Psychics’ Profiles

Aside from the lack of availability of the psychics (which frankly is a problem) the psychic’s profiles are not the greatest.  The font is very small, and the information about the psychic is minimal. It’s not structured, and there is no helpful information that makes it easy to understand what skills the psychic has, or what their availability is.

Some psychics have images, whereas others use an icon instead.  Which doesn’t make it easy to get a sense of what the psychic is like.

The Psychics’ Reviews

There is a facility to leave a review for the psychics, and you can see them clearly.

We do think though,  that there is a possibility that the reviews could be fixed somehow (or negative comments removed) because all reviews were positive (or at least 4 stars) – which is unusual.  There is always somebody who marks a psychic down because their expectations were not aligned with reality and they didn’t hear what they wanted to hear.

The other issue we have with the reviews is that as long as you have an account with Psychic Stars, you can leave a review for a psychic, which means that the reviews may not all be verified and associated with a particular reading.

The Free Question

As we have already mentioned, you get the opportunity to ask a free question with Psychic Stars.  It seems inviting and also simple, you simply ask and give them your email address – we assumed so that they could send the answer.

However, as soon as you click ‘send’ the page to open an account pops up and to get your free question you have to enter all of your details, including your address and card details.

We feel that this is too much too soon.

If Psychic Stars had answered the free question and then invited us to enjoy a discounted reading by opening an account that would have felt better.  But unless you want to purchase a reading or are going to participate in ten minutes for free offers such as those that Keen promotes, then why would you hand over your card information so quickly?

It just seemed cold, uncaring and greedy!

The Satisfaction Guarantee

There’s a satisfaction guarantee, but there are no terms and conditions to explain the rules for the satisfaction guarantee.  Which means we don’t trust it!

Having reviewed this further, we realize that there once was terms and conditions surrounding this satisfaction guarantee, and one of the terms was that if you made a claim you get banned from the site!

But since the review that claimed this had been published, it would seem as though Psychic Stars have removed all terms.  Shady to say the least.

Warning!

If you use this service be aware that they are very likely to be using aloof patterns and deliberately not publishing terms and conditions so that they can hide their aggressive practices!

If you are looking for a psychic site which has a much stronger guarantee, and are always focused on serving their customers first and foremost, we recommend Psychic Source – we cannot praise them highly enough, and you can still get your reading for $1 per minute from them too.

Which leads us nicely onto the next section.

The Terms and Conditions

Is this site even legal?

The terms and conditions are so vague; there is barely anything there.  And while we acknowledge that usually terms and conditions are there to protect the company more than the consumer, we have to question why is Psychic Stars so laid back about their terms?  Is it because they don’t care? Or don’t pay attention to the details?

And if they are so laid back about their terms and conditions, are they as laid back with your data, and security?

Or maybe they deliberately hide the terms and conditions until you’ve either registered ALL of your details including your credit card details or they’ll present them when you have a complaint and are using the ‘by using our service you agree to our terms and conditions line.’

We can’t help but feel a little concerned about this especially because to open an account with Psychic Stars you have to give them your card details.  And because we know they have removed their terms and conditions regarding their satisfaction guarantee, perhaps because somebody published the truth about them we can’t help thinking that it’s shady behavior.

The Pricing

The introductory deal is great, it’s $1 per minute, and you can book a package of up to 30 minutes at that price in total.  If however you book a package of 10 minutes and your reading goes over we assume that you would pay the usual rates.

And that’s where once again things become a little shady.

There is nowhere on the website that tells you what you can expect to pay if you pay the full price, but we have found out that the prices are somewhere around those listed below.  Although we have also learned that the prices can change and that Psychic Stars once again seem to be very shady about their pricing.

Here are some pricing examples we have found:

  • 10 Minutes for $29.95
  • 15 Minutes for $49.95
  • 30 Minutes for $89.95
  • 60 Minutes for $159.95
  • 90 Minutes for $229.95

But you get 5 minutes free after your first paid reading! (Note the sarcasm here!).

You can go to somewhere like Keen, or Psychic Source and find a reading for much cheaper, at the introductory rate and beyond.  AND they make their pricing clear, and they are transparent about their terms and conditions too – which is how it should be!

The Lack Of Transparency

There is zero transparency with Psychic Stars.  Which is not good enough – the days of hiding potentially unethical business practices are over. Consumers are demanding much more than that and really, it’s not hard to do. Not doing so promotes a lack of trust.

In an industry where it is very difficult to express and convey trust, transparency is a must, and Psychic Stars fails at every turn.  As a consumer, you deserve to be respected and treated with the integrity you require.

What Do We Love About Psychic Stars

We don’t like anything about Psychic Stars.  Sorry.

We think they could do so much better and there are other companies that are doing better, that we know you’ll enjoy more.  We’ve listed them below in our ‘recommended’ psychics.

Why We Wouldn’t Use Psychic Stars

It didn’t have to be this way.

Some of the ways that Psychic Stars falls down really boil down to integrity and transparency; it’s not really going to cost them a lot of money to make the changes required.

Nobody is going to mind if there are reasonable terms and conditions, people will probably pay the prices they charge too if they are happy with the experience yet Psychic Stars prefer to keep their cards close to their chest.

We wouldn’t use Psychic Stars for the following reasons:

  • There are better psychic websites out there … Psychic Source anyone?!
  • We don’t like handing over so much personal information so soon.
  • The lack of terms and conditions.
  • The lack of information about Psychic Stars – there’s nothing!
  • The hidden and changeable pricing.
  • The poor psychic profiles.
  • Frankly, we don’t trust them.
  • We don’t know if they screen their psychics and we definitely don’t know how.

Our Conclusion: Lacking, Bland and Shady – It’s a NO From Us.

Why would you want to shop here when you could do so much better for yourself by just clicking onto a different site?

We can’t help wondering what the morale of the psychics who work for this site is like because we certainly are not feeling anything positive from here. The whole website feels like a side project that somebody forgot.  But the thing is, we don’t think they’d have to do much to turn it around so we can only conclude that they don’t want to.

There are so many credible, invested, lively and reputable psychic sites out there and all you need to do is click the links below to find them.  Seriously – you’ll be glad you did!
