Is Medium Maria Legit?

The Medium Maria claims to be a renowned psychic and that her psychic abilities hail from a grandmother who was also well known for her psychic prowess way back in the 19th century and who was often called upon by royal families in Europe for her services.

A Right Royal Facade

She also claims that she has nothing to hide and is generous in the way that she helps people.  And while Maria certainly is generous in her offers to help you, we doubt very much that The Medium Maria has nothing to hide!

In fact, we know ‘she’ has some huge skeletons in her closet and we are about to let you know all about the ones we have found, especially the skeletons that like your money.  A lot.

Definitely Not Legit

There is no doubt in our mind that the Medium Maria is most definitely not legit, and she’s also not misguided, or just inexperienced in her psychic practice.  Nor is she bad a running a professional site, naive, or mistaken.

Maria is an out and out scam artist.

Or should we say the company who runs the website The Medium Maria are scam artists who have created a character called Maria so that they can use this ‘person’ to steal money from you.

If you need to know the in’s and out’s of why we have come to this conclusion – keep on reading.

How Medium Maria’s Site Works From A Consumer Perspective

Aside from the dated images and slightly masculine vibe on Medium Maria’s site, you’ll be forgiven for assuming that this is a legit website for independent and Psychic Readings.

The Usual Format For A Scam Site

It has a home page, a blog, testimonials, the option to receive a free psychic reading and an ‘esoteric’ shop’ where you can buy some of ‘Medium Maria’s’ publications.

Now if you’ve read any of our other reviews on Padre, Celeste, Amanda, Angela and so on, you’ll begin to notice the common features of each site.  They all have the same features on their websites – they are all just formatted differently and use different colors and branding.

Scam Artists Maria and Angela Work Together

In fact, The Medium Maria recommends ‘Medium Angela’ after you have registered for a free reading.  So they must be associated in some way, although both websites appear to be owned and managed by a different company.  We recommend you do not connect with ‘Medium Angela’ though because she too is fake.

Site Navigation And Information

As you navigate The Medium Maria’s website, you’ll feel assured that Maria knows her stuff.  She has a variety of articles in her blog that relate to numerology, tarot and clairvoyance and while the information provided is very basic, it’s correct.

Maria’s Questionable Skills

When you read about Maria, you learn that she’s world-renowned, gifted, and has inherited her psychic ability through her bloodline.  And you’ll also read about how Maria understands Numerology and Tarology. She also throws a lot of spiritual buzzwords around, that makes her seem as though she knows what she’s talking about.

What You Can Purchase

In her shop, you will find publications that Maria claims to have written and surprisingly, you can also dive straight in and pay $129 for a psychic reading – which is quite pricey but also unusual for these types of sites.

Everything on the site is designed to appear up to date, accurate and above board making it easy for you to feel comfortable in participating in the free email reading, or in purchasing anything on this website.

So it’s hardly surprising that many people from all walks of life fall for this scam.

What Happens Next

When you subscribe to a free reading from Medium Maria you hand over your email address and this is where the scam begins.

If you purchase a product or service immediately, then the scam has already begun. And in this scenario, The Medium Maria knows by your immediate actions that you are an impulsive or highly motivated buyer who is willing to spend money.  So the emails that follow will probably take advantage of this trait.

The Build Up

Emails you receive from Maria will start off reasonably gentle, but of course, there will be something in each one designed to clearly and subliminally compel you to spend your money on a reading.  The wording will be psychologically and emotionally manipulative playing on your dreams, fears, guilt, and even fear of missing out. They’ll create problems you didn’t have and then solve these problems for you.  All in the name of separating you from your cash.

How Medium Maria’s Site Really Works.

It’s no surprise that The Medium Maria’s website looks professional and appears to adhere to all required legislation.  This is because the scammers behind The Medium Maria are professional. They know psychology, and hypnosis too.

Which means that they know that they need to make this website professional so that it doesn’t draw attention to the real reason for the website – to take your money.

The same principle applies to the legislative side.  If the website doesn’t operate in accordance with up to date legislation, then they are going to be noticed by the law for what they really are.  So they toe the line.

Maria Is Fake

We can begin to unpack the deception when we take a look at what’s occurring with Maria.

By all accounts, she is a legit, experienced psychic, and the image of Maria is also used not just on her website but also her social media. Causing us to believe that the intention here is to lead us to believe that Maria is the face behind the website.

In other words, this is what Maria looks like, who she is.

But this is not true, here are the issues we found with Maria.

  • Her image is a stock image model.  (Perform a reverse image check to see for yourself).
  • The name of her renowned Grand Mother is not released, so we have no way of checking out her story.
  • If Maria’s image is fake, does this mean that Maria is not real?  We now have questions.
  • The site is owned and run by a business named Mediaweb Ltd. based in Hong Kong, not Maria.
  • We don’t know Maria’s surname, nor have we ever seen her or spoke to her in real time, so we cannot verify by our own sight, or hearing that Maria is a real person.
  • If we cannot trace Maria, we cannot verify her which means she is an unproven self-proclaimed psychic.
  • The scam reports claim that there is no psychic ability demonstrated by ‘Maria’ whatsoever.
  • This site is connected in some way to another scam site Psychic Angela.

Psychological Tricks

One thing is for sure, the people behind The Medium Maria’s website are master manipulators. They know how to use psychology to get many people to do what they want them to do. Even if they don’t hit the mark the first time, they’ll keep on sending emails with different psychological triggers until one hits the spot, or catches you at a weak moment.

Underhand Tactics

It’s not ok for anybody to manipulate somebody who could be vulnerable by creating false hope, anxiety, or fake problems.

A classic example of such manipulation is when sites like Maria’s claim that you have been born with bad karma that doesn’t belong to you, or that you are cursed and you need a product or service of theirs to clear it).

It might sound unrealistic to consider that anybody would fall for such lines but the psychology, hypnosis and marketing prowess used ensures that even some of the most discerning of people can fall for this tactic.

Will You Receive A Psychic Reading From Maria?

You will receive what appears to be a psychic reading from Maria, but it probably won’t include or demonstrate any psychic ability at all.

Instead, the psychic reading you receive will probably lack any personal information, or information relative to you. It will include, however, clever copy that will invoke problems you didn’t have.  Such copy will create false hope that you must seek something, or it might inspire an increased desire for a mystery something that will bring you luck or help you avoid bad luck. The ‘reading’ may even trigger fear responses such as anxiety.

Which is all designed to keep you purchasing more and more.

Why You Shouldn’t Trust Medium Maria

To clarify, here are just a few reasons why you should avoid Medium Maria and instead look for a reputable and verified psychic.

  • Maria may not be a real person.
  • Maria is probably not a real psychic.
  • This setup is a marketing machine designed to make money not a psychic site.
  • The hiding in plain site lies are rife on this site as is the emotional manipulation.
  • You won’t get a real psychic reading that you can trust.
  • You won’t solve your problems.
  • You’ll leave Maria with more worries.
  • If you engage and are susceptible to their marketing, you’ll probably end up spending a lot of money, and you’ll definitely gain nothing.

Remember!  Fake psychic readings can be harmful; they can influence your decisions negatively and ruin your life.

Already Caught Up In This Cycle?  Here’s What To Do

If you find yourself in this situation, and you are concerned about what to do if you have received a message that has triggered anxiety, and let that important message slide, we suggest you contact a reputable psychic hotline like Psychic Source or Keen.

Contact one of their psychics and explain the situation, ask them to guide you, if you have an important message, they’ll share it with you.

Our Conclusion;  Fake! Do Not Pay For A Reading From Maria

The Medium Maria is definitely a ‘psychic’ to avoid.

She probably is not a real person, and she also is unverifiable and untraceable which means that you have no idea at all what you are going to get.  And since Maria has done nothing to demonstrate trust how can we expect to receive a trustworthy psychic reading we can assume that we can’t trust that her readings are accurate or real.

Which leads to the question – what is the point in having a psychic reading that you can’t trust?

Doesn’t that render it useless?

We certainly think so!

If you are feeling vulnerable and tempted by Medium Maria, we suggest you stop there and instead seek out a genuine psychic that you can choose and physically speak to who works with and has been verified by a professional and reputable psychic hotline.

They will advise you further and help you with your problems without making you feel as though you need another reading, without charging so much money and without popping up in your emails afterward to try to entice you into spending more money.
