Is Your Aura Too Prickly?  Find Out How To Soften It Here

If you are finding that people are just randomly abrupt or mean to you, arguments are occurring at the drop of a hat and that it doesn’t seem as though anybody can take anything you say without being offended.  Or people never seem to get too close to you; you might be giving off some prickly vibes without even realising it.

Perhaps you are tired, overworked, have been sick or have some anger inside that needs to be resolved, and it’s making your energy spike.

Some people may have had a tough experience as a child, which has influenced their energy causing their aura to be a little bit too edgy for others to feel comfortable around all of the time too.

People can read this spike in energy through your aura and since your aura is the first thing that people feel when they are in another person’s presence it sets the tone for the communication you are about to receive, which means people around you become spikey too and ready for a fight!  (metaphorically speaking).

So if you have a prickly aura, you are naturally going to cause others around you feel a bit irritable and even a bit prickly too which means that conversations and connections can go awry before you’ve even started talking to someone.

It’s no wonder that you keep having a lousy time communicating with people if you are experiencing this situation.

But don’t worry, it’s quite easy to soften your aura and show you how right here.

Here are some top tips on how to soften your aura, so that you can have a calm and peaceful experience with others for a change.

1.Drink chamomile tea.

It’s delicious, incredibly soothing and works instantly.  Add some honey for taste if you are not vegan and enjoy the sensation.

2.Meditate

Meditation is said to be extraordinarily restful and healing, as well as being an excellent way to get inspiration and insight.  Plus it’s a time-saving way to rejuvenate yourself since the

benefits of meditation is at least the equivalent of twice as much sleep.

3.Visualise Smoothing out your aura.

Spend some time visualising your aura and smoothing out the spikey parts will help you soften your aura for sure. However, it might make you feel a little bit frustrated or angry as you do so.  Just allow yourself to experience that emotion until it has passed and you’ll have got it out of your system. If there is a lot of anger, it can take repeated attempts, but at the very least it will give you a temporary respite.

4.Get some healing.

Any alternative healing will help you soften your aura.  They will all approach the problem in different ways, but all will focus on shifting and clearing energy which is what you need if you are feeling a bit prickly!  You can even get access to healers online without having to leave your sofa!

5.Speak to a psychic who specialises in healing and ask them to guide you on how to soften your aura.

Psychics can read auras and get guidance on what might be causing the problem with your aura; they can also guide you on the best way to go about curing the problem too, in fact, some are remote healers too.  They are well worth considering and are often money saving if you feel like you could swap places with a cactus right now.

Sites like Life Reader, Keen and Psychic Source are great for finding high quality psychics.

6.Get some rest (if you know it’s a temporary situation).

If your hackles are up because you are frazzled, it’s time to get some rest and respite. Take a weekend to hole up at home with some good healthy food and lots of sleep.  You’ll be right as rain in no time at all.

People Love Meditation: But What’s the big deal?

Have you ever found yourself thinking that you ‘should’ try to meditate because you have heard it’s good for you (even though you don’t really know why or how to meditate)?  Well, if you have, you are amongst the majority.

So in this article, we want to help you understand why those who meditate swear by it.  And to do so we scoured the internet (Twitter to be precise) to find out what people are saying about meditation and why they like to meditate.  This way, you don’t just have to have my biased opinion (although that’s included here too).

Here’s what other people on Twitter are saying about why they meditate

  • “ To slow down my monkey mind and concentrate better while shooting”  @olympicpistol
  • “To improve communication with others – much easier to carry a conversation when preset and following breath!” @gradblogger
  • “Helps me deal with emotions I don’t want and accept that even the ones I do want are temporary” @dialmformara
  • “To feel calm and focused for my research and family and to relieve physical symptoms of anxiety @nlindfield

There’s some great benefits right there!

@hotmessmomtrepreneur doesn’t give a reason why she meditates, but she has this to say about the influence of meditation on her life:

‘Meditating daily has completely changed my life, no joke. If I had to pick one thing that has been the #1 most beneficial in my hot mess to success journey, it would 110% be meditating.”.

So you see there are plenty of people, who have more than one reason why they meditate.

As for me, well I suppose you could say that I meditate to level up in every way.

There’s no way that I could write, grow and learn, physically, spiritually and in business if I didn’t have my daily meditation.  I can’t get through the day without it.

It clears my mind, gives me a new lease of brain power, helps me solve problems, helps me to support and contribute to others better, develops my intuition, guides me on the right step forward and helps me to relax.

What have I gained from meditation has been life changing and here are just a few benefits I’ve experienced that I could think of:

  • Confidence
  • Esteem
  • I found myself
  • Clarity
  • Peace
  • Love
  • Connection
  • Spiritual growth
  • Inspiration
  • Fulfilment
  • A sense of safety
  • Reduced anxiety
  • Faster and beneficial answers to problems
  • The ability to write a lot of words every day without feeling tired or overwhelmed.

What Is Meditation?

When you think about the act of meditating, all it is is sitting still, in quiet, closing your mind from the world around you and just existing.  The break that you give your mind allows you to develop a deeper connection with your ‘self’, your intuition, your higher self and your purpose.

The Benefits Of Meditation

Meditation heals you, restores you and fills you with the right kind of information it fills your mind, body and soul with  ‘nutrients’ instead of supplying it only with empty nutrients from the world around you (metaphorically speaking).

That’s why people rave about it, and that’s why when people get past the challenge of adjusting to the practice of meditating that they make it a lifelong everyday practice.

How To Meditate

All you need to do to get started is to sit still and quiet for five minutes per day until you have mastered this and feel compelled to extend that time.

It’s that simple, and it really is one of the most beneficial things you can do for yourself.

Sleeping With A Rose Quartz Crystal For People Who Need More Love In Their Life

A Rose Quartz crystal has to be one of my favourite crystals of all times, this crystal is beautiful on the outside and on the inside too, it’s a real gem (pun intended), and when you’ve read this article, you might just agree with me too.

Sleeping with a crystal might sound a little strange and even on the uncomfortable side, but there is a method in my madness.  You see, rose quartz has incredible properties and can heavily influence a restful, loving and restorative sleep.

Rose quartz has been revered as the stone of love and reconciliation since Greek and Roman times, according to the Lexicon of healing stones, the Romans believed that the love gods Amor and Eros brought the stone to the earth and so its entire history is steeped in the notion of love and is said to represent the heart.

Even the natural colour of rose quartz represents the colour vibrations of love, so it’s no surprise that this stone represents the heart chakra too.

And well, if your heart is peaceful when you are asleep you are going to enjoy a restful nights sleep don’t you agree?

But don’t take my word for it, here are some of the known benefits that rose quartz brings;

If you sleep with rose quartz, it protects from sleep disorders and promotes beauty and restful sleep.

Is A Win For Obama In The Cards?

by Diane Saarinen

Five tarot readers. Forty Barack Obama supporters. One art gallery. Three hours. By the end of the evening on October 17, these components added up to a cool $1000 at a unique fundraiser titled, “It’s In the Cards: Tarot for Obama.”

The scene was Kris Waldherr Art and Words gallery in Brooklyn, New York. I was on hand as one of the five very busy tarot readers who donated services to raise money to help conjure up a win for the Obama-Biden ticket. A $20 per person donation included a wine and cheese reception, and unlimited tarot readings. A silent auction was held as well, featuring items such as baskets full of divining tools and even a Sarah Palin “I’ll get back to you on that” T-shirt.

Amid the backdrop of the current gallery exhibit of paintings by Karen Zuegner, we readers were hopping – if one can actually hop while reading cards – from the 6 o’clock opening to 9 o’clock and beyond. Dressed in what can only be described as my black celestial cocktail dress (perfect for just such an occasion!), I also had my trusty model of a palmistry hand on my reading table, which really was just made for holding my business cards.

Kris Waldherr, gallery owner and organizer of the event, is also the creator of the bestselling Goddess Tarot and Lovers Path Tarot. “I think this is the most important election in my lifetime,” she said. “So I had to do something to help. Other members of the tarot community feel a similar urgency.” Waldherr is also the author of Doomed Queens: Royal Women Who Met Bad Ends, From Cleopatra to Princess Di, a campy and macabre romp through royal history with accompanying illustrations.

The Obama supporters were wonderful to do tarot readings for. While most had specific questions in mind, a few did just want a general reading on current influences in their lives. What was interesting to me as a tarot reader was the occurrence of many Nine of Swords cards being drawn throughout the night! While at first puzzled, I realized that the card – which often depicts a situation of worrying beyond the realistic scope of a situation – was reflecting the current economic fears of the collective New Yorkers, so close to the epicenter of the global financial meltdown taking place.

It was a grueling three hours. And we have proof of that! While we readers looked fresh as daisies at the beginning of the evening, photographs told the true story as we emerged at the end of the night looking as if we had run a marathon in a sauna. Don’t let anyone tell you psychic readings do not consume energy. They do, and plenty of it! However, it was for a worthy cause and certainly was a delightful evening.

A final question you may be asking: Do the diviners know the outcome of this election? Well, maybe yes and maybe no. Maybe we just aren’t taking any chances with fate!
