Drug-Free Treatment for Back Pain and Moresam
By Robert Scheer
If you are like me, you’ve noticed that the older you get, the more aches and pains you experience. Because I spend so much time working on a computer, my most common complaints involve neck, back and shoulder problems. That’s why I was very interested when I found out about a new system designed to relieve pain caused by muscle tension.
The system is a compact-size pain relief device developed by a Canadian Chiropractor and Acupuncturist, Dr. Michael Ho. When I first heard about it, it was being discussed primarily to be used for back pain. Although I have had bouts of severe sciatica in the past, that problem of mine seems to be gone — knock on wood. But when I did a bit more research, I learned that the system can also be used on elbow pain, and that struck a very responsive chord. I suffer from mouse elbow, a condition similar to golf and tennis elbow. In my case, its source is the repetitive strain of squeezing a computer mouse for hours at a time doing desktop publishing work. So that’s why I decided to give it a try.
Dr. Ho’s Dual Muscle Therapy System is a pocket-sized unit that’s only slightly larger than a deck of cards. It comes with different sized electrode pads with wires that plug into the battery-powered machine. Also included with the product is an instructional
DVD that I was highly impressed by. Not only do the videos, presented by Dr. Ho, provide detailed information about how to use the muscle therapy machine, he also gives extensive demonstrations of several different rehabilitation exercises.
I only just got my device, and I intend to test it for a while before I report back on how well it works. What I can say off the bat is that the wrist and elbow exercises I learned from Dr. Ho’s video provided me with instant relief. So I’m looking forward to telling you more about the digital massage therapy system itself. In the meantime, if you’d like to know more, you can check out Dr. Ho’s website at www.drhonow.com.
Regretfully, the Pain Therapy System is only available in Canada at this time. However, visitors to the website from the U.S. and other countries will find other pain relief products, as well as nutritional supplements.
